Pati, i saw that episode & they looked delicious! we’re mexican too but we’ve never had french toast like this. Im 17 & im going to make it for my mom for mothers day which is her birthday as well for breakfast! (: thanks so much for the idea. your an amazing cook!

Pati,I made these for dessert but used white whole wheat bread, sugar free preserves and eggbeaters. Ofcourse I did fry them in butter (couldn’t help myself)! They were wonderful even tho they were the light version. I will definitly make them again.
