It was such a pleasure talking to guest-host Christina Bellantoni, from PBS News Hour, and several listeners about global influences on Mexican cuisine on WAMU’s The Kojo Nnamdi Show.

First off I want to say superb blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I’ve had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting
my thoughts out. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like
the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost simply just
trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or hints?
I’d say, rather than figuring out how to begin, focus on the story you want to tell. Then you can go back and re-write your intro…
I’m such a huge fan. Love how your recipes are so authentic. Many people don’t realize that Mexican food is not just beans and rice. Your history lessons of where and how the food originated from what part of Mexico really fascinates me.
Main reason for my comment is how do I get an autograph cookbook? Once i buy it where can I send it for you to sign it? I live in California, central valley to be exact and don’t see you coming here an time soon.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Ho Yolanda, thank you! If you email me your address to firstname.lastname@example.org , I can send you a dedicated and autographed bookplate for you to stick on the first page of your cookbook. Does that idea sound good? Then you can get the cookbook anywhere that is easy for you! And thanks much for your support
