Hey, Texans! I’m so excited to announce that I’ve been invited to host a series of cooking classes at Texas’ Central Market. The classes will be held in several locations. The first will be a dinner class at the Lovers Lane location in Dallas (my oldest son is Texan and born in Dallas!). If you are anywhere in the area, I hope you will consider joining me. I will be available at the end of the class to chat and sign cookbooks.

My book tour gets underway in New York City! I will team up with fellow Mexico City native Chef Barbara Sibley at her restaurant, La Palapa Cocina Mexicana, to prepare a home-style Mexican lunch for members of the New York Women’s Culinary Alliance. I will also talk about the menu and Mexican food in general.

As we nail down the schedule for my book tour this spring, I’m so happy to announce that one of the dates will be in my hometown of Washington, DC. I will sit down with Washington Post Food and Travel Editor and fellow cookbook author Joe Yonan at the Sixth & I for what’s surely to be a lively conversation about Mexican food and culture. I will also sign copies of the book following the talk. If you live in the DC area, or will be anywhere near in March, I hope you will join us!
